About me

I am en engineer turned astrophysicist. I currently hold a position as a Postdoctoral Scholar in Prof. Enrico Ramirez-Ruiz research group at the University of California Santa Cruz.

My research interests include galactic chemical evolution, stellar feedback processes, turbulence and r-process enrichment. While my primary method so far has been numerical simulations I am passionate about the importance and challenges of connecting theory to observations. Read more about my past and current research projects here.

I received a B.Sc and M.Sc in Earth and Space Physics and Engineering with a focus on X-ray telescopes from the Technical University of Denmark, before obtaining my PhD in astrophysics from the University of Copenhagen in 2023. Before I found my proper shelf in physics I did a B.A. in Marketing Communication at Aarhus University.
